Will.i.am to play Kestrel


Hip hop superstar will.i.am (Black Eyed Peas)has joined the cast of X-Men Origins:Wolverine as John Wraith a.k.a. Kestrel. Kestrel was part of Team X along with Wolverine, Sabretooth, Maverick, Mastodon, and Silver Fox and has the ability to teleport.

Taylor Kitsch set to play Gambit


Superherohype is reporting that Taylor Kitsch has been cast as Gambit in the forthcoming Wolverine movie, confirming months of rumours that the character will make an appearance.

It was earlier rumoured that Josh Holloway (Lost) would be playing the role, which would have been perfect casting, but any appearance of Gambit in the movie is a good thing!.

Part for The Blob in X-Men Origins:Wolverine

Sources close to the production of the movie, X-Men Origins:Wolverine have said that test footage has already been shot for the inclusion of The Blob with an actor in a rubber suit. Apparently, the suit makes him look like he is 800 lbs, but the producers of the film wanted to make him even bigger, something like 1200 lbs.

The Blob, one of the characters from the original X-Men comics (first appearing in 1964 in X-Men #3) would be one of an ever increasing list of cameos that this film promises to throw up...

Christian Clark bags role in X-Men Origins:Wolverine

Australian actor Christian Clark accidentally confirmed his involvement in X-Men Origins:Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman.

The Adelade Advisor says that Clark was "momentarily caught off-guard when asked about X-Men Origins:Wolverine, and inadvertently confirms his involvement, before realising the gag order in his contract prevents him from doing so or talking about it any further."

Clark is best known for his role as Will Griggs in Aussie soap, Neighbours.
